Welp, I’ve got 5 degenerated discs in my neck…the surrounding discs are deteriorating very fast under the stress of supporting the damaged discs. I suffer from Severe Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis and some connective tissue disorders. Due to my joint and connective tissue problems, I also suffer from fibromyalgia and cervical degenerative disc disease. Currently, the only surgery that could possibly slow down degeneration is a double fusion, a serious surgery we are trying to avoid

  9. MadMadamJess Says:

as long as possible. Since I sing, I’m desperate to preserve my vocal cords. The surgery would require cutting my neck from the front and from the back so vocal injury and paralysis is common. So, in a nut shell, there ya go! All of this causes constant, chronic pain and debilitation. But I make it through..I’m pretty tough. ;-) xoxoxoluv, jessie
